The JRC JHS-183 is a Class A Automatic Identification System (AIS) designed for professional marine navigation, collision avoidance and vessel monitoring. The system continuously transmits own-ship information while receiving and displaying AIS information from other vessels. It consists of a compact AIS controller and an antenna-integrated transponder, connected by a single coaxial cable. The JHS-183 can also interface with compatible radar, ECDIS, GPS and gyro equipment.
