The Furuno FELCOM 15 is an Inmarsat-C Mobile Earth Station designed for professional maritime satellite communications. It provides general and distress communication services through the Inmarsat-C network and incorporates an EGC (Enhanced Group Call) receiver for maritime safety information. The system consists primarily of a terminal unit and antenna unit and can be integrated with additional distress, alarm and printing equipment for professional shipboard installations.
