The ACR GlobalFix V5 is an advanced AIS Emergency Position-Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) designed for maritime distress and search-and-rescue applications. It combines 406 MHz Cospas-Sarsat satellite alerting with AIS local alerting, Return Link Service (RLS), GNSS positioning and NFC smartphone connectivity to support rapid and effective rescue operations.
