The Furuno DS-60 is a Doppler Sonar designed to provide accurate, real-time information on vessel motion and water speed, particularly for berthing and docking operations. The system provides fore-aft and port-starboard speed measurements and supports both Speed Over Ground (SOG) and Speed Through Water (STW) information.
