The Jotron Tron SART20 is a compact 9 GHz Search and Rescue Radar Transponder designed for use on lifeboats and liferafts during maritime emergencies. When interrogated by an X-band radar, the SART responds with a distinctive radar signal that enables nearby ships, SAR vessels and aircraft to locate the survival craft. The Tron SART20 is designed for GMDSS search and rescue applications and complies with applicable IMO/SOLAS requirements.
